Stargazing Pods. Review of Alton Towers Hotel. Reviewed 22 Apr 2019. We booked a 2 day pass with an overnight stay in the Stargazing pods. They are fantastic, we travelled in 2 groups, 4 in 1 pod and 2 in the other. Based not far from the main hotel, they are comfortable for a few overnight stays.
